Come to Italy in 2016
I’m excited to tell you about an amazing tour to Italy I’ve organised for people touched by cancer – including friends, partners, families and support people.
When I finished cancer treatment in 2012, I somehow wanted to take control of my year and end it on a high note instead of having a year defined by cancer treatment. So I booked myself on a Trafalgar tour to Europe and had one of the best months of my life. The tour really helped me get myself back from cancer.
I want to offer that travel opportunity to other people who’ve gone through the cancer journey. So I organised a holiday to celebrate life and to give people who’ve been through cancer treatment a trip of a lifetime – surrounded by others affected by cancer, people ‘who get what you’ve been through’. It’s going to have an incredible energy as everyone on the tour will understand what you’ve been through. The tour has been specially designed for us and I’ll be travelling with the group.
The tour will be amazing as you’ll be travelling through Italy staying in high quality accommodation. And you’ll be seeing inspiring sights – art, history, architecture and beautiful vistas.
From New Zealand – it’s a 20 day package including a 13 day tour to beautiful Italy – Venice, Florence and Rome – including Assisi – departing in April 2016. We’ll fly together from New Zealand with 2 days stop over in Singapore. Then when we finish the tour, there’ll be 2 free days in Rome before flying back as a group or going your own way.
If you’re joining us in Italy, it’s a 13 tour of Italy and we will meet you in Rome!
It’s a gentle to moderate pace. Each day you decide what activities you would like to do – have a rest or go sightseeing with the group. I chose to partner with Trafalgar tours as they offer quality tours and accommodation and Trafalgar is super supportive; you don’t even need to carry your suitcase.
Please contact me to make a booking. I’d love to talk to you about the tour – either by skype, phone or email email@example.com. It’s only available through booking with me and there are limited spaces available.
The costs depends on whether you join us in NZ or Rome. Email me and I’ll send you all the info.
I’d love to see you – and if you need to raise money for the tour, I’m happy to advise on fundraising too.
Check out my video here.
More details are below.
For those flying from New Zealand, we’ll have a 2 day stop over and tour/free time in Singapore.
Then on to Rome. For those joining us in Rome, you’ll meet the group on Day 4.
